How to add a promo code on Ulta.com

I do this on Ulta all the time—most recently with a Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer in my cart—so here’s exactly how it works, step by step:

  Add what you want to your Bag and make sure shades, sizes, and quantity are right. You can also choose how you want it: Ship, Pick up, or Same day (when available).

  Hit Join or sign in (the “Don’t miss out on rewards!” banner is hard to miss). Being logged in ties the order to your Ultamate Rewards account so you earn points and avoid hiccups with codes.

  Confirm prices and that you’ve got FREE shipping if you qualify (Ulta shows this clearly). Some coupons exclude certain brands or promo items, so it’s worth checking before you move on.
