VIRGIN ATLANTIC Discount Code & Coupons October 2026

How To Add a Virgin Atlantic Discount Code

Virgin Atlantic doesn’t tuck the promo box away at the very end of checkout the way some sites do. On their official booking page, the discount code entry is actually right inside the flight search bar — you just have to expand it first. Here’s the exact flow I follow so I don’t forget the code (or paste it in too late).

• 1

Start on the Virgin Atlantic homepage and build your search like you normally would. Fill in “Flying from” and “Flying to,” pick your Journey type (for example, Round trip), then choose your When dates using the calendar icon, and set Who (like 1 person). If you’re booking with points, you’ll also see the Search for Reward Seats toggle — flip that on only if you’re actually searching reward availability.

Before you hit the big Search flights button, look to the top-right corner of the search box for the small dropdown that says “Got a discount code?” It’s easy to miss because it’s not a giant “Promo code” field — it’s a little link-style label with a dropdown arrow.

Click “Got a discount code?” to expand it. That’s where Virgin Atlantic expects you to enter your promo code before you search, which is helpful because you’re not stuck doing mental gymnastics later trying to figure out where the discount should have applied.
• 4

Type or paste your discount code into the field that appears. I always copy/paste here, especially with airline codes, because they’re often case-sensitive and a single wrong character can make the whole thing look “invalid.”

Now click Search flights as usual. From this point, Virgin Atlantic will carry the discount logic into the results flow (assuming your code matches the route, dates, cabin, and fare rules). The big win of adding the code at the search stage is that you’re not wasting time comparing fares that were never eligible for the promo in the first place.

As you move through flight selection and pricing, keep an eye on the totals and fare breakdown. Airline discount codes can be picky — sometimes they apply only to the base fare (not taxes/fees), sometimes they’re limited to certain travel dates or cabins. If the price doesn’t change the way you expected, my quick troubleshooting move is to re-check the code entry (typos), then try a different flight option on the results page — it’s surprisingly common that one fare family qualifies and another one doesn’t.
